Hi, I'm Russell Sweet—a saxophonist and woodwinds performer based in St. Paul, Minnesota. I hold a Master of Music in Multiple Woodwinds Performance from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of Minnesota, with extensive experience in orchestral, chamber, and community settings. I love teaching as much as performing. I’ve taught private lessons, prepared students for juries and recitals, and helped colleagues develop music education curricula. I’m excited to continue performing, recording, and mentoring the next generation of players.
