I built a private AI assistant for the CEO of an electrical services company in Australia. The goal was simple: give him a way to interact with his business without checking several software tools himself, while keeping his business conversations under his own control.
The first phase delivered a working assistant that the client could use through Telegram on his phone. It runs on his own NVIDIA DGX machine, with Gemma running locally through Ollama. n8n handles the work behind the assistant, including routing, checks, and fallback paths.
Privacy was the starting point. Tailscale was used for secure remote access. Twingate was tested but removed when it did not work reliably enough, while RustDesk was used for direct access during setup.
This was the first part of a larger plan involving several AI assistants for leadership, marketing, and reviews. Phase 1 was delivered for $700. The system is still being tested, so I have not claimed performance numbers that do not exist yet.
