Founded by Safak Oz Kutle, Oceanvs Orientalis is a collective formation which aims to challenge the aesthetic perception in electronic music. It may feature itself as a band or as a one-man action.
It blends itself with the archaelogic tunes of mankind’s cumulative musical history and in this very context believes that “everything comes from the east”.
Despite of being an electronic-based formation -due to practical reasons- at the moment, it intends to transform into a dance (to move the body and feet to music) orchestra where each instrument will be played by its own instrumentalist.
Oceanvs Orientalis, tunes are not in a hurry.
Oceanvs Orientalis, Şafak Öz Kütle tarafından kurulmuş, elektronik müzikteki, “estetik anlayışını” sorgulayan kollektif bir oluşumdur. Birçok kişiden oluşabileceği gibi, yalnız da kalabilir.
Kendini,binlerce yılda oluşabilmiş müzik mirasının arkeolojik tınılarıyla harmanlar ve bu bağlamda “herşeyin doğudan geldiğine” inanır.
Pratik kullanımı açısından elektronik tabanlı şarkılar yapsa da, her enstrumanı kendi sanatçısının seslendirdiği bir dans (vücudun çeşitli kısımlarını, dairesel ya da doğrusal yönde, ritm eşliğinde hareket ettirme eylemi) orkestrası olmayı hedefler.
Oceanvs Orientalis, acelesi olmayan insanlara, acele etmeyen şarkılar yapar.
