uniE621 Brand Identity & App Design
PACKAGE DESIGN PROCESS When given free range on how to expand our company’s branding system, I wanted to showcase what a box full of a customer’s order would look like, as well as some of the products themselves. This company’s intended aesthetic is sleek and luxurious, and I wanted to convey that aesthetic by keeping information to a minimum expect for on the product’s immediate packaging. This company has two levels of colors. The first and overall color system consists of dark brown, a rich blue, and light blue; all colors that contain cool undertones to keep the luxury sleek look. The second set of colors is based upon the colors of the cookies themselves (i.e. chocolate chip has light and dark brown). MOBILE APP DESIGN PROCESS We were given two open applications to work on throughout the semester, and reflecting on the quarantine we all found ourselves in during this last semester, I wanted to treat this project as one that my company would create in response to a pandemic. This app would be an extension of accessibility that’s faster than typing the URL of Kooke’s website. The app lets its user to review past orders, shop for individual or package deals, track packages, etc. The design is created in a way that lets the products speak for themselves rather than elongated explanations. logo graphicdesigner branding illustrator designer
    uniE621 Poster Design
This poster design was created for a friend who is a Dungeons and Dragons Dungeon Master, and I wanted to showcase some of his most popular characters from the three different campaigns he's run so far. illustrator
    uniE621 Fantasy Character Scene
This is based off of a scene from a friend's medieval Dungeons and Dragons campaign, where the listener is a visiting royal who meet a palace guardsman that holds a great secret. illustrator Dungeons&Dragons
    uniE621 Character Design
This spidersona (spider-persona) character was inspired by the movies Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse (2018) and Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse (2023). This character has a custom-made compression suit that aids with sensory sensitivity, particularly with their sensitivity to sound, caused by the spider bite they received from a jumping spider. They also have custom-made headphones to counteract sound sensitivity, and the compression suit itself contains LED visuals to mimic the wearer's heartbeat and showcase their insignia. The color scheme is based off of the character's desire to slip in and out of social situations fairly undetected, in addition to the greens and grays that reflect their dimension, which is described as a cyberpunk Atlantis. illustrator designer
    uniE621 Sustainability Design
SUSTAINABILITY REPORT When figuring out which company to pick for designing a Sustainaibility report, I wanted to choose a topic that was familiar to both me and my project’s audience; I decided to find a company that would be based around candy or sweets, and then I found Óbolo. My ideas for the report were to branch out of my usual minimalist aesthetic, and to heavily play with type, and linear and organic shapes. I also wanted to stick to natural colors with a singular color pop, that color ultimately being electric blue. The blue came from one of the company’s packaging color schematics; the other choice of pop would have been red or purple. graphicdesigner illustrator designer
    uniE621 Packaging Design
PACKAGING DESIGN PROCESS The task was to package and re brand a generic product purchased from any store. The re-branding consisted of a new logo, and the redesign and assemblage of a new packaging case. In addition to re-branding and packaging, we were tasked to design three different iterations of whatever product we chose. There was no unique logo for this product, in that Rite Aid made the charcoal toothpaste. For the logo, I ultimately decided to use a descriptive name that both encompasses simplicity and panache. The flavors I chose for my iterations are three of the most popular among dental hygiene companies. logo graphicdesigner branding illustrator designer
    uniE621 Magazine Layout
NEXUS MAGAZINE DESIGN PROCESS JMU has a literary arts magazine that showcases different forms of art, including graphic design, theater, photography, painting, etc. When I was given this assignment, I wanted to showcase different literary pieces and drawings I created in high school as a slight deviation from my graphic design and studio art projects. At first I wanted to keep the color schematics dramatic and dark so that the content would pop out more, however I later decided that I was going to achieve a balance between different themes– light and dark, soft and sharp, focused and blurred, etc. graphicdesigner designer

ACCORDION BOOK DESIGN PROCESS This project is one of my top three projects to have been given. We were given three overall topics to base the accordion on: superstitions, the five senses, or urban legends/old wives’ tales. Superstitions have always fascinated me, and death has always been a curious taboo subject for me, so I decided to marry the two subjects. When I imagine death as a subject, it’s always been black and white for me, and I wanted to play on the imagery of golden sand to represent time, hence the gold paint. This project was illustration heavy, and I wanted to keep to a specific art style I had been working on throughout the years, with the end results being completely satisfying. logo graphicdesigner branding illustrator designer
