Hi there! I’m Scarlett O'Brien, an 18-year-old aspiring filmmaker and editor based in Manly, Australia. I love making videos, editing films, and capturing memories through photography, live music, and storytelling. I’m hardworking, self-motivated, loyal, and easy to work with, and I’m excited to learn more about the art of editing and behind-the-scenes work in film and media. I’ve enjoyed developing my skills in piano and music, and I’m passionate about building relationships with colleagues and clients while exploring creative projects. Since finishing Stella Maris College in 2024 and earning a Certificate IV in Screen and Media, I’ve been exploring behind-the-scenes roles in professional productions. I’ve worked as a receptionist at Forte School of Music and as a pharmacy assistant at Malouf Manly Pharmacy, where I developed strong client relationships, learned to manage film development and photography tasks, and supported teams in fast-paced environments.
