Moumita Das

Hello, I bring 14 years of experience in animation, during which I’ve witnessed significant industry transformations, fostering my agility in embracing new methodologies. While my specialization lies in creature animation, I possess proficiency across various animation domains. With this extensive background, I believe I am poised to embark on a leadership role, eager to guide and manage a team towards our collective goals.

I have been residing in Barcelona, Spain, for the past year, though my roots lie in Kolkata, India. My passion for exploration extends beyond borders, with a particular love for bike riding. I find joy in documenting my adventures through photography and videography, relishing the editing process to bring those moments to life. In my role as a Senior Animator, I specialize in creature and character animation, encompassing skills in facial animation, lip-syncing, and proficiency across all stages of the animation pipeline, including layout, previs, postvis, and shot designing. My experience spans a diverse range of projects, from VFX-heavy films and series to various animation styles such as cartoony, realistic, semi-realistic, gaming, and motion capture. This breadth of experience has equipped me with a strong foundation to tackle any animation challenge with creativity and expertise.
