Over the last twenty two years, the work I’ve been fortunate enough to do has been nothing if not varied. Through a career’s worth of full-time employment and a steady diet of freelance work, I have been given the opportunity to work in publishing, web, video, and every print medium I can think of; for clients ranging from megachurches to manufacturing companies, record labels, nonprofits, insurance agencies, schools, sports teams, well diggers, construction companies, a quilt maker, storytellers, Crossfit gyms, and a group of Navy SEALs fighting human trafficking all over the world. For over a decade now, I’ve been managing a freelance design company under the name Upper Air Creative; then, most recently, in also serving as a Marketing Director and Consultant, I’ve been able to shift to thinking and communicating in a much more strategic manner as I have planned full-year marketing calendars comprised of several campaigns and an overall strategies and schedules. It’s been a learning experience, it’s been fun, but I have been looking for new and interesting opportunities to really invest in a brand and help build, or lead a team.
