    The British Psychological-Society Rebrand
Branding for the British Psychological Society. Taking inspiration from typical brain activity imagery, I created a whole identity based on these fluid, organic shapes and gradients. There's an array of shapes, colours and treatments to choose from, along with other design elements that creates a multi-layered identity that is both flexible, engaging and memorable. Name and branding for Vitilgone Event
Naming and branding for Vitiligone, an event highlighting the effects of vitiligo, patient experiences and new treatments. Taking inspiration from the physical appearance of Vitiligo, I used organic shapes as a brand background pattern, but chose a distinctive colour palette to make it more unique. behance.net/simalpas freelancedesigner branding event eventbranding graphicdesign vitiligo skincare typography healthevent designinspiration ilovetypography…

    IDS rebrand and website design
IDS or Interior Door Systems specialise in premium sliding doors. They wanted the new logo and brand to reflect their quality and style, whilst keeping the humming bird, which for them was a symbol for how effortlessly their doors glide. I redrew the bird to be much more elegant, refined the colour scheme and used typography that felt more stylish and premium. I then applied this to the website to create a much more stylish design that used plenty of white space, large typography and asymmetrical layouts to add visual interest. Ye Olde Oak Luncheons Campaign

Meals in minutes - a series of quick, easy and affordable recipes that were real family favourites, designed to appeal to busy families on a budget. Retro textiles, props and colours were used to give it that classic look and to tie in with real classic family favourites that were easy and affordable to make. The high contrast style photography gave it a modern twist and made the meals look amazing. I was responsible for the concept, art direction, copy and graphic design.…

    NHS Heart Disease Awareness Campaign
Freelance Designer for Hire - Portfolio Showcase No. 8 A health awareness campaign for NHS Bradford. Bradford has one of the highest mortality rates from heart disease in England, with one in five people over the age of 65 dying from coronary heart disease and one in two people will die from some form of vascular disease. The campaign needed to raise awareness of heart disease and educate people on how to lower their risk. It was also important for the campaign to appeal to people of all ages and ethnicities. The shocking fact that heart disease is Bradford’s biggest killer led to a “Hitchcock – Who done it?” / Saul Bass inspired design, depicting a crime scene with evidence pointing to the main factors of heart disease and strokes. Ads, posters, banners, social media graphics and an award-winning website were created to maximise impact.
