I’m Ben Simmons, a Brooklyn-based architect and designer who loves shaping spaces that blend function, material detail, and brand identity. I hold a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UNC Charlotte and have designed hospitality interiors, cultural and educational projects, and branded environments for clients like Equinox and SoulCycle. I communicate design intent through thoughtful drawings, 3D renderings, and presentation graphics, collaborating closely with clients and design leads to align visual identity, signage, and environments with project goals. My research and practice span sustainable prototyping with mycelium-based materials to digital fabrication and motion graphics. As a Graduate Design Researcher with UNC Charlotte’s IDRL, I led visualization work for sustainable structural concepts and explored digital-physical workflows.
