I am a contemporary composer and pianist from Kazakhstan, currently studying at JAMMUSIC Lab Vienna. My work explores myth, memory, and experimental textures, ranging from solo pieces to chamber and vocal music. I have presented my compositions at international festivals, including Sounds of Now Vienna 2025. My repertoire includes works for solo cello, flute, and voice, and I am developing new pieces for piano, soprano, and mezzo-soprano. I aim to reimagine traditional forms through a modern lens, weaving lyric lines with moments of silence and tension while addressing political and social themes through instrumental dialogue.

I am a contemporary composer with a passion for exploring sound, expression, and cross-disciplinary connections in music. My work has been performed in concerts and festivals, including the 2025 Sounds of Now Vienna, where my contemporary solo cello piece received its debut. I currently study Gulda School of Classical Composition, Theory, and Arrangement in Vienna, where I am deepening my craft in compositional techniques and musical structure. My academic journey also includes a semester of Applied Music (Music Production) at Sejong University, South Korea, which expanded my perspective on sound design, recording, and contemporary production practices. My artistic experience spans solo works, ensemble pieces, and collaborative projects. I am particularly interested in contemporary music that bridges cultural influences, scientific concepts, and emotional expression, creating works that challenge perception while connecting with audiences on a human level.
uniE608 Sonata for Solo Cello: Bone of Her Bone
Sonata for Solo Cello: Bone of Her Bone was born out of deep sorrow and anger in response to the brutal oppression of women under the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. Witnessing the erasure of women’s rights, education, and voices in the 21st century is unbearable — yet it is a reality so many endure silently, under threat and behind closed doors. As a woman from Kazakhstan, I feel this pain not from a distance, but as something hauntingly familiar. Our histories echo with struggles against patriarchal control, political repression, and cultural silencing. My own experiences, gender, and feminist beliefs connect me to the women of Afghanistan in solidarity, grief, and defiance. The title Bone of Her Bone is not a religious reference, but a symbolic expression of shared identity, resilience, and trauma. It suggests something deeply internal — the unbreakable core of a woman whose body, spirit, and autonomy are targeted, yet never truly taken. This work is a lament, a resistance, and an offering.
