I’m Solar Flight, a rapper from London. I have written close to 80 songs and have performed approximately 125 times in the past 8 months.
I have performed at pubs, clubs and even on a boat (including with Pete Doherty). I have also performed at The Hilton and in Lagos, LA and New York via Zoom.
I am a fast worker and can adapt what I write or perform to your needs, as is evidenced by the many poems I have written for others in the past 3-4 months. I was alsl the featured poet of the book ‘Inclusive Space’ by Ezzy Llewelyn-Smith for her BA project.
I have performed with guitarists, piano players, bands, other rappers and solo (acapella or with a backing track) in venues across London and can perform acapella without a microphone in small venues.
I have appeared in several newspapers (the EC1 Echo, the Islingtom Tribune and Sussex World) and my single ‘What does Love mean?’ was recently featured on Street Takeover Radio, a station in the Bronx.
I have been a rapper for 8 years and am good at both networking and performing. I would say I have people skills, performance skills, songwriting skills and freestyle skills. I can also look good on camera, if filming is required, as I have acting experience (I was in eBay’s 2016 Christmas advert).
