I wrote a suite based on the children’s book, “The Little Prince,” intending to extend it into a full-length ballet, but the project fell through. I am still very fond of some of the movements.

I was hired to compose a tone poem that was to be rehearsed and performed remotely by the Santa Barbara City College Symphony Orchestra. Here is the result:

During the lockdown of 2020, I was hired by the director of the Santa Barbara City College Symphony Orchestra to compose a suite in seven short parts in which it would be easy for the orchestra to rehearse a movement every week on Zoom, record via multi-track, and still sound pretty.
