I'm a freelance graphic designer with over a decade of experience working in the creative industries, both as an in-house designer and a freelancer. I have always strived to use my skills to affect positive social change, which has led to a focus on working with charities and the publicly funded culture sector, and my background as an illustrator brings a unique creative element to my work. I take great pride in delivering top-quality projects that exceed expectations, and I love bringing people's ideas to life. You can view my full portfolio at _Website not available. uniE621 Branding, print and digital design for People Power Passion, Luton's Pilot Year of Culture
People Power Passion is an ambitious programme of events that took place across five months in 2019, to commemorate the 1919 Peace Day Riots. The programme brought Luton’s diverse cultures and communities together to celebrate the vibrant town, empowering residents and giving a voice to those who are rarely heard. The programme called for a bold, recognisable brand that could be applied across a variety of outputs, including flyers, newspaper adverts, billboards, lamppost banners, hoardings, posters, roller banners, film graphics, an event programme and a celebration booklet to document the project. The logo is inspired by protest signs and headlines, and is intended to be attention-grabbing and unapologetic.
uniE621 Annual report design for Reprieve, a legal action NGO
Reprieve is a justice-focused organisation that fights human rights abuses, often committed by powerful governments. It investigates and uncovers evidence, litigates in courts globally, and campaigns for change. Reprieve’s work defends people on death row, those held without trial, victims of torture, and individuals targeted by illegal drone attacks. Their annual report includes a narrative-based overview of the last financial year, their key achievements, and an overview of their work, along with financial statements and an independent auditor's report. The brief called for an impactful and sensitively handled document design, which could be shared directly with Reprieve’s funders and stakeholders and published on their website. This required following Reprieve’s brand guidelines and evolving the design style, which had already been established through previous reports.
