I’m a freelance 2D character-focused concept artist, animator, & illustrator based in Pasig City, Philippines. I’m a fine arts graduate from the University of Santo Tomas. Having been a major in Painting, I have since moved from traditional to digital work – I am experienced with the 2D animation pipeline, from conceptual design stages, to keyframing, to clean-up. I have fully designed and animated key game characters using frame-by-frame animation, and am inspired by fluid movement present in games such as Cuphead.
While I lean towards linework which employs a rough yet cozy look, I like to make designs stand out by bolstering key elements which represent the stories of characters or concepts. I want to bring stories to life. It is significant to me that I test the limits of creative concepts, as well as back-up my designs with research, and a lot of experimentation.
I’ve always been drawn to emotionally honest stories, dark themes, & the otherworldly. In my spare time, you can catch me watching cartoons, or crunching fallen leaves beneath my shoes. Oh - and I carry a book or notebook almost everywhere!

- Fully conceptualised & designed key game characters (player character, bosses, mini-bosses, enemies) & props (health items, collectibles, FX) using Clip Studio Paint & self-directed research.
- Per concept design (characters, enemies, game assets, etc.): Created multiple variations in terms of overall design & possible color palettes to truly explore the prompts given by the studio director, and ensure visual harmony.
- Conceptualised and fully animated necessary assets for said key characters & props using TVPaint; from roughs to final clean-up & color. (Example: Character Introductions before a fight, Attack phases, Command animations, etc.)
- Lead Keyframer for collaborative animations using TVPaint, Created a pipeline with timing charts, spacing notes, & art direction for the in-between artist/s to follow.
- Vocal in meetings for production plans & always ready to provide feedback to further improve the quality of my own & the team’s works. Stayed involved in giving constructive criticism to other team members outside my own field, too.
