This Echoes of Ala project explains the Igbo understanding of life after death as a transition rather than an end.
It explores ancestral identity (Ndi Ichie), burial rites, reincarnation, and the enduring connection between the living and the spiritual realm, including the concept of Ogbanje.
The episode presents a structured worldview where existence is continuous and the presence of ancestors remains active within the community.
