I’m Stephen Keyworth, an award-winning dramatist, screenwriter and director with 70+ hours of TV and radio. I teach and mentor writers at universities and drama schools across the UK, including University of the Arts London and the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, and I work as a freelance script doctor, collaborating remotely with writers from around the world to develop their work to its full potential. I’m comfortable working with existing material and writing for young audiences, and I have experience across audio, television and theatre as well as live performance backgrounds in stand-up and improv. My radio writing for The Man Who Fell to Earth (BBC Radio 4) won the Grand Trophy at the 2025 New York Festivals Radio Awards and a Signal Gold Medal. I’ve adapted The Princess Bride for BBC Radio 4, created Monkey & Gorilla for Fox UK, and trained on the BBC Drama Writers’ Academy under John Yorke. I’ve led writers on BBC drama series and regularly collaborate under tight schedules, bringing strong storytelling, tone, and pacing to every project. I’m excited to chat about ideas and how we might collaborate, whether on Zoom or Teams.
