Dries Vanherwegen

I’m a Barcelona-based documentary filmmaker.

My films connect intimate human stories to wider issues—such as Jugartistas (2022), co-directed with OTOXO Productions about art and urban life; Here to Stay (2022), on women in skateboarding; and Skate Spectrum (2022), following autistic children discovering freedom through skating. My work has been supported by the Nike Community Impact Fund, featured in international festivals, and includes contributions to Netflix’s Tour de France: Unchained (Season 2). I have worked for agencies like JSD in Puerto Rico, PlayYourBrand in Barcelona, and FuegoYamana in Argentina.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Dutch, I bring both creative vision and professional production skills to every project.
