Jill Narciso is an award-winning queer Filipina writer/director/producer who mixes horror with heart, humor, and culture. Jill’s stories are often rooted from personal experiences. She’s created films about unusually dim public restrooms, creepy thrift-store dolls, and the strangeness of meeting friends and lovers through apps. Her acclaimed short films Stall, Dolls, and First Date have screened at festivals nationwide, with additional work available through streaming platforms. When she's not writing or directing a new film, Jill is sharing paranormal stories in the Echoes and Shadows horror podcast, with co-host and fellow horror filmmaker Tiffany Warren. Jill also teaches elementary and high school students about filmmaking. Jill prioritizes LGBTQ+ and BIPOC talent on both sides of the camera. She is a former fellow of FilmNorth’s Pilot Lab for Inclusive & Socially Conscious Filmmaking, and she has been selected for numerous industry programs including the Women of Color Filmmakers 201 Directors Program, the WOCF Lab, #StartWith8Hollywood, and the Unlock Her Potential Mentorship Program. She is also a featured creator with Boyish Media. Jill lives with her wife and stepson in Orange County, which is close enough for them to visit Mexico whenever life needs a plot twist.
