Hi, I’m Anton. I’m a versatile animator based in Cambridge, Ontario. My experience spans both 2D and 3D animation, and I animate confidently in a wide range of styles, which includes highly-stylized and cartoony for very young viewers. I am proficient in Harmony ToonBoom and the full Adobe Creator suite, including Adobe Animate. I am able to create appealing animated content that’s simple and uncluttered while also grounded in the fundamental principles of animation. I have extensive experience creating locomotion cycles, which are advanced forms of looped animation, and also subtle idle cycles that include breathing, blinking, and subtle body motion that can run smoothly for a long time in the background. I am also proficient in art and design in Adobe Photoshop as well as final compositing in Adobe Premier. I have worked professionally as an Animator on several children’s 2D productions, including Gerald McBoing-Boing, The World of Quest, and Toot & Puddle. In addition to studio production work, I have created 2D animated content for live theatre, where I designed and animated the face of a talking tree that was projected on stage for a live performance aimed at children aged 6–14. This project required clear lip-sync (“mouth flapping”), expressive facial animation, and simple readable motion that would communicate effectively to a young audience in a live setting. My background as an animation educator further strengthens my ability to create content for children. I have taught 2D and 3D animation at Fanshawe College, Otis College of Art and Design, and at the Toronto-based animation school The Animation Lounge. Teaching animation requires breaking complex ideas into simple concepts—an approach that translates directly into my ability to create simple animation that is nevertheless clear and engaging
