Hi, I'm Patti Argoff. I work in traditional watercolor on paper and digitally, creating illustrations of family life, kids, animals, and people in historical costume with a lively, animated quality and careful attention to detail. My work appears in children's picture books, textbooks, posters, board games, teacher and parent resources, children's magazines, e-books, and online educational programs for both children and adults. I began my career as a designer for silk-screened sportswear and sleepwear in New York City's garment center. My designs have been commercially produced and sold worldwide at Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Healthtex, Carter's, Danskin, OshKosh, and McKids. I earned a BFA in Visual Communication from The School of Visual Arts in 1981 and have received awards from How Magazine, the Syracuse Press Club, and the New York State Press Association.
