Exploring every aspect of audio engineering since 2014, Alisa has come to love sound for film. Performing both location sound and audio post duties has given her opportunities to oversee sound for projects from set to screen. Having experience as a producer and director has also allowed her to become familiar with the overall process of film making, thus letting her merge seamlessly with the rest of the crew. Invited to host educational audio workshops at programs and establishments like Digital Media for Children at Centennial College and the filmmaking program at POV Film, Alisa has fulfilled her childhood dream of being an educator for young and aspiring minds. Currently an instructor of Audio for Film Production at Toronto Film School, Alisa is the first point of contact in sound training for aspiring film makers. Teaching and applying the theory of sound and audio to film production and editing, Alisa is passionately overseeing the development of the next generation of potential sound recordists and storytellers.
