Hi, I’m Theis Jakob Høisæter, an Oslo-based bassist, music producer and founder of Rigel Studios. I perform internationally with high-energy live band shows and play in ensembles of 40+ musicians, while also recording, mixing, and producing albums for emerging and established artists. Beyond performance and production, I build long-term collaborations across genres and cultures, co-create full-length albums, and support artists from idea through distribution. I’m fluent in Norwegian and English with Swedish proficiency, and I continuously expand my toolkit to bridge live artistry with studio craft and education.

    paper Rafastik

RAFASTIK is an instrumental power-trio from Norway.

The sound pulls from the late 60s up until today—psychedelic jams, heavy metal, folk, funk, baroque, even techno—all melted into something of its own.

Our debut record, RAFASTIK, is built as a full album experience, meant to be played from start to finish.

The album was composed and recorded in only one week at Rigel Studios in Norway, Summer of 2025. All self-produced.

RAFASTIK features Frikk Reinholdt on guitar, Theis Hoisæter on bass, and Lars Egemar on drums. That’s how we recorded the album, raw and stripped back.

The band started with a simple idea: what if you stumbled on a lost record from the 70s that somehow felt brand new? That’s what we’re chasing—the feeling of discovery, like finding something dusty in a crate that still sounds alive.
