Maintained and improved Java microservices for a large-scale government project (Kosovo), focusing on reliability and maintainability. Owned several services end-to-end, contributing to the design and implementation of key application components. Worked with production-facing technologies including RabbitMQ, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Elasticsearch. Developed a custom C++ Windows authenticator integrating the Portuguese national ID card and YubiKey for secure authentication. Designed, developed, and maintained multiple Java microservices for a medical evacuation platform built from scratch. Took ownership of Java-based microservices for an Azure Government project, contributing from design to delivery and ongoing maintenance.
