I am a software engineer with 6 years of experience in both web and gameplay development. During those years, I worked as a gameplay developer for some Unity/C# projects, most notably 2 rogue-like projects: Kingdom of No One, which is a rogue-like RPG with procedural map generation and an original turn-based combat system, and The Black Swan, which is an action roguelike with an out of the box skill casting system. I also worked on casual mobile games, like Swift Touches and 09, a small casual mental calculation mobile game. I also made multiple tools for those games, especially the rogue-like ones, using WPF/C# for some, separated Unity projects for others, and custom editor scripts for others.
I also worked on gamified wellness apps for a couple of years, using game technologies to implement gamified wellness exercises easily. Those experiences gave me skills in game engine use, code architecture, gameplay mechanics, design ability, and communication and organizational skills. I also have professional experience working with C++ due to my end-of-study internship, during which I had to create a C++ plugin for a voice chat library for Unity.
I’m motivated, passionate, and rigorous, and I can make up for my lack of experience with my motivation and adaptability. I am also inventive enough to contribute innovative and original ideas to all game production and development aspects. I also have good French and English, which helps communication and research.
