Hi, I’m Tyriq Baker, a multidisciplinary musician, composer and performer based in Birmingham, with a BMus from the University of Huddersfield. I perform on piano, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone and more, and I’m active in theatre, film and education. I love blending jazz, classical, folk and Caribbean influences and collaborating with ensembles, theatres and schools to create engaging music and soundscapes. I also write and produce original music for stage and screen, lead workshops, and mentor others through initiatives like Black Lives In Music.
