I thrive in diverse and collaborative environments, and I’ve contributed to meaningful design solutions for communities and creatives across New Zealand, India, and Japan. Currently working as a digital designer in Wellington, I’m seeking a permanent role where I can help shape ethical and sustainable products and services that make a real difference. I am passionate about user-centred design and visual storytelling, always curious and eager to grow.

Weftus is an ethical and environmentally friendly art and craft practice that brings together individual skills. We make female clothes, tote bags and aprons made of hand-woven or hand-printed textiles. As this is my passion project, I have been working on the concept of ideas, brand identity and assets design, product design, such as fabric patterns and clothes, cost and production management, and website design and development. For the UX/UI part of the work, I started the wireframing on Figma, designed it on the same platform, and it’s currently in the process of being developed on WordPress using Elementor Pro and WooCommerce plugins.
Mission
To create an ethical and environmentally friendly fashion and craft practice through Weftus, blending craftsmanship with sustainability. My goal was to build a brand that communicated our values of individuality and artistry, while designing beautiful, functional products that aligned with these principles. I wanted to create a seamless experience from concept to production, all while ensuring that the design and process were as eco-conscious as possible.
My Contributions
As this is a passion project, I took on a wide range of roles, from developing the brand identity and designing product assets like fabric patterns and clothing, to managing costs and production. For the website, I led the UX/UI design process, starting with wireframing and moving to high-fidelity designs in Figma. The site is currently under development on WordPress, using Elementor Pro and WooCommerce. Managing this self-produced project has been a great learning experience, helping me refine my project management skills and discover new tools to streamline the process.
Brand identity and packaging design for an Italian food importer brand, De Gustibus. Their products are now available on supermarket shelves in NZ. My role was making a system of the infographics, final tweaks for the logo and packaging layout under the creative director, and final printed file execution. Also, I worked on creating preserved meat and polenta packages under this brand.
Mission
To create a cohesive and appealing brand identity for De Gustibus, an Italian food importer now bringing their products to supermarket shelves in New Zealand. My goal was to design packaging that was not only functional but also stood out on crowded shelves, making their range of products both recognisable and visually appealing to customers. The challenge was to balance creative flexibility with a consistent, on-brand visual system that conveyed both quality and clarity.
My Contributions
I worked on refining the logo and designing the packaging layout, focusing on creating a flexible system of infographics that conveyed key product information clearly. I also designed specific packaging for preserved meats and polenta. One of the main challenges was developing an icon system to clearly show cheese sizes, while also maintaining colour coordination across the product range. Seeing the final products in-store was a rewarding experience, as it provided the opportunity to reflect on how my designs functioned in real-world settings and how I could evolve them for future projects.
I transformed complex datasets into clear, engaging visuals by identifying key narratives and developing creative concepts while ensuring accuracy. A key challenge was balancing compelling design with data integrity, making insights more accessible to a broad audience.
I also refined and styled graphs to enhance clarity, readability, and brand alignment. Some tasks required simple refinements, while others involved experimenting with different chart styles to best convey the story. I enjoy the hands-on process of fine-tuning details to make data visually compelling and easy to understand.
Mission
To bring clarity and storytelling to data by designing visual narratives that are both informative and visually engaging. I set out to make complex datasets more approachable for wider audiences while respecting the nuances and integrity of the data. In this project, my goal was to communicate the potential economic impact of the AIMS Games in Tauranga to ANZ, transforming data into a clear story that could support meaningful decision-making.
My Contributions
I began by researching the AIMS Games and their local significance, drawing insights from online articles and datasets provided by Dot’s data scientists. From there, I led the visual development of the economic impact story—refining chart styles, shaping the narrative, and tailoring visuals to enhance clarity and engagement. My work spanned from polishing existing graphs to experimenting with new visual formats, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines while making complex insights easy to grasp.
2023 Calendar design for HubSpot Japan. Working with a creative production team, designed the cover, inner pages, and illustrations that were inserted into the calendar as sticker sets. The challenging part of this project was that it was a quick turnaround, and the deadline was very tight and solid (as it’s a timely gift for a new year!) despite the number of illustrations I had to create. Making a system of showing the months shifting around the year by adding a small rectangle device on each month’s page was a good touch, and using their brand colour, it became a fun and functional calendar.
Mission
To design a functional and joyful calendar for HubSpot Japan that aligned with the brand’s playful yet professional tone. As a seasonal gift, the calendar needed to feel fresh, thoughtful, and engaging—something people would enjoy using throughout the year. My focus was to bring visual consistency and fun through illustration while ensuring everything felt clear, accessible, and brand-aligned.
My Contributions
I collaborated with a creative production team to design the full 2023 calendar—cover, layout, and a set of themed stickers. Working under a tight deadline, I created illustrations that were simple, universally understandable, and consistent with HubSpot’s brand language. I introduced a subtle visual system—a shifting rectangle device—to show the passage of months in a clever and cohesive way. This attention to structure and detail helped create a product that was both functional and visually delightful.
As one of the digital designers at Dot Loves Data, I contributed to the design and development of Community Compass — one of Dot’s key digital products. Community Compass had outgrown its Power BI platform and needed to be migrated to a purpose-built web platform. I supported the design and development of the digital interface and marketing site. This included shaping the user experience, designing digital assets, and preparing digital componentry for development. Working closely with senior creatives and developers, I gained valuable insight into the end-to-end product design process — balancing user needs, brand consistency, and technical feasibility. It was a rewarding experience to see the product come to life and serve real-world communities.
Mission
To support the transformation of data-driven tools into user-friendly, purpose-built digital products that serve real communities. My aim was to contribute meaningfully to the development of Community Compass by designing intuitive experiences that respected brand identity while improving usability. As someone new to UX design at the time, I was especially motivated to learn and grow through hands-on collaboration across disciplines.
My Contributions
I joined the project during a pivotal transition — from Power BI to a custom-built web platform — and worked alongside developers, product managers, and senior creatives to shape the digital interface and marketing site. I focused on organising brand assets in Figma, designing UI components and widgets, and preparing them for development. By creating reusable design systems, I helped streamline collaboration and speed up production, gaining valuable experience in the end-to-end product design process.
At Dot Loves Data, I collaborated with data scientists and creative directors to design Power BI dashboards that were both functional and aligned with each client’s brand. We began by researching the client’s brand and understanding user needs, then created user journey maps to guide the dashboard’s structure. After developing wireframes and high-fidelity designs, we refined them through client feedback. For some projects, like FENZ, we also created style and user guides to ensure consistent design across future dashboards. This work reinforced my belief in the power of human-centred design for even the most technical tools.
Mission
To design intuitive and branded Power BI dashboards that cater to the unique needs of each client. The goal was to create data visualisations that were not only functional but also user-friendly, ensuring that the dashboard experience was both seamless and engaging. I aimed to combine a user-centred approach with the constraints of Power BI, finding creative solutions to improve both the usability and the visual appeal of the dashboards.
My Contributions
I worked closely with data scientists and creative directors to research client brands, map user journeys, and design wireframes and high-fidelity dashboards. My focus was on aligning the design with client requirements while ensuring an intuitive user experience. For projects like FENZ, I also helped develop style and user guides to maintain design consistency across future dashboards. This experience deepened my understanding of creating systems and interactions that are easy to use, even when working within the limitations of a tool like Power BI.
