    uniE621 Curious House Courses
The Curious House is a place where the stresses and strains of everyday life can be left behind for a few hours in favour of exploring your creativity and imagination with like-minded people. It’s a place to learn a new skill or craft and take inspiration from creators and makers of a variety of disciplines. Located in the Sussex home of the founder, the brand identity needed to be bold and strong enough to stand out whilst still retaining an informal, homely quality.
    uniE621 Franklins Brewing Co.
Franklins is an independently owned, award-winning brewery based within the sprawling East Sussex South Downs. An ethos of tradition, innovation, sustainability and community is at the very heart of their business. Inspiration for the branding was drawn from the location of the brewery, which is surrounded by an abundance of fields, meadows, and farmland offering up a variety of shapes, textures, patterns, and colours.
uniE621 The Better Half pub, Hove
A pebble’s throw from the seafront and a million miles from the ordinary, The Better Half pub prides itself on its affable and welcoming nature with an added touch of eccentricity. My involvement with the pub dates back to 2014, when I was part of the team that worked on a complete transformation inside and out. Landlord Simon Stern took it over with the ambition to transform it from a tired, old-fashioned and unwelcoming pub to one of the best-loved and most popular pubs in Brighton & Hove. From the outset, the intention was to put the heart and soul back into the pub without it veering into an overly generic and decorative makeover. It was about putting people first and giving the pub what it needed to grow organically and establish its personality through fascination, belonging, humour, and story while preserving an authentic pub feel.
    uniE621 Visit Lewes
Lewes is surrounded by the South Downs National Park, close to miles of unspoilt coastline, rich in history, culture, and a spirit of independence. Visit Lewes is the symbol made up of the ingredients of its geography, its history, its cultural and political importance and its social connections. It is a celebration of the whole district and a marque emblematic of quality, purpose, character and heart. Lewes District Council approached Studio Lewis to refresh Lewes’ tourism branding and identity. The intention from the outset was to celebrate every aspect of the area, the rich cultural heritage and the eclectic vibrancy of the people who make it what it is.
