Hello!
My name is Naê Camargo and I’m a French-Brazilian artist currently based in Vancouver, Canada.
I studied Classical Animation at Vancouver Film School where I got to create my own animated short film, “Further”.
I have experience making illustrations, 2D animation, concept design, character design, prop design, background art, story boards, designs for shirts and tattoos as well as some 3D modeling.
I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, ToonBoom Harmony and Storyboard Pro. I am familiar with Blender, Substance Painter, Adobe Animate and After Effects.
I have a deep love for all things horror, sci-fi, queer and camp! I love exploring new art forms and learning new ways to improve.
I spend a lot of my time watching movies and playing video games and as such am deeply influenced by the media I consume.
Predominantly, I find inspiration from works of Syd Mead, Moebius, Junji Ito, Mamoru Oshii, Katsuhiro Otomo and countless others.
