My name is Ali Kolivand, and I am a professional architect and Unreal software developer based in Iran. My passion for CG artistry using the Unreal Engine began when I noticed that this software was not receiving the attention it deserves in my country, despite its incredible capabilities. Determined to change this, I embarked on a journey of learning and exploration, dedicating eight years to studying and promoting Unreal Engine. Today, I am proud to have taught Unreal Engine to over 3000 students in my country.
As CEO and Architect of Darc Office in Tehran since 2017, I have led a company focused on expanding knowledge in architectural software. I earned the Unreal Engine certification from Epic Games and am the sole individual in Iran to hold this prestigious credential. In the early years at the institute, we completed over 100 projects—including interior design, renovation, modeling, and rendering—and I organized seminars and workshops. I also authored an Unreal Engine book in Persian for Iranian students and created three Unreal Engine plugins to help architects work more efficiently.
