    For this project, I was commissioned by Dorset based ‘Wakey Wakey Arts’ to provide illustrative and graphic design work in collaboration with Emma Watremetz. This was for the children's book, 'Puffed Up Pearlette' written by Becky White and entailed 12 double page spreads, and front and back cover design, within a tight time frame of just over a month. The book aims to gently teach young children the importance of speaking to a trusted adult if another adult is causing them harm. It will be used as a teaching tool across schools, and available for purchase. Collaboratively, Emma Watremetz and I worked very closely. While I created a lot of initial character and storyboard sketches, Emma took these and rendered them. I also contributed to the rendering process, helping to redraw, incorporate feedback and adjust characters. Working on the same illustrations as another illustrator presents its own challenges, but I feel Emma and I succeeded in creating an equal workload and a cohesive final outcome. illustrator…
