I am an industrial designer specializing in the design and production of custom-made parts. My work is structured around five main pillars: ideation, 3D modeling, prototyping, custom design, and in-house fabrication. Ideation & Sketching: I explore initial ideas through quick sketches and clear visual concepts, laying the foundation for each project. This stage is crucial for transforming a vision into a concrete and functional design. 3D Modeling: Using advanced CAD tools, I create precise and detailed models that incorporate both technical and aesthetic specifications. These models serve as references for manufacturing and validation. Prototyping: I produce physical or digital prototypes to test and refine concepts before final production. This ensures that each product meets expectations in terms of performance and aesthetics. Custom Design: I develop unique solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client, whether for individual parts or complete systems. Workshop Fabrication: My workshop is equipped to manufacture custom parts with a high level of precision. From machining to assembly, every step of the process is carefully managed to guarantee optimal results that meet the project’s requirements. On my website, LGR Design Studio, you can discover my projects and design methodology, which combine creativity, technical precision, and a results-driven approach. Whether you are looking for innovative concepts or custom solutions for your projects, I am available to collaborate and transform your ideas into tangible, functional products.

    paper Above-ground pool cover enclosure

    Project Link : https://www.twine.net/signin

This project involved designing an above-ground pool cover casing. The main objective was to create an aesthetic and easy-to-install solution that enhances the pool area while integrating thoughtful features to improve usability and ambiance.

The cover casing includes built-in lighting to create a relaxing evening atmosphere, as well as an ergonomic key-control system that allows smooth opening and closing of the pool cover. The design combines practicality and elegance, delivering an ideal innovation for any outdoor space.

    Challenge
    The project presented several challenges:

Aesthetic and functional design: Striking the right balance between attractive design and practical features, while maintaining ease of installation.

Integration of modern features: Incorporating LED lighting for nighttime ambiance and a key-control system that is both accessible and discreet.

Durable, weather-resistant materials: Selecting materials suited for prolonged outdoor use, resistant to weather and aging.

Ease of installation: Designing a modular product that can be easily assembled with minimal tools.

    Solution
To meet these challenges, we adopted a step-by-step, methodical approach:

    Defining objectives and preliminary research:

Establishing essential criteria: attractive design, simple installation, and integration of additional features.

Analyzing existing solutions to identify potential improvements, particularly in terms of lighting and accessibility.

    Design development:

Creating a clean, modular design using high-quality materials to ensure durability and weather resistance.

Integrating energy-efficient LED lighting to create a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.

Implementing a discreet yet intuitive key-control mechanism for simplified operation.

Designing a simple assembly system requiring minimal tools and installation time.

    paper Automated Pet Food Dispenser

    Project Link : https://www.twine.net/signin

This project focuses on the creation of a smart dog food dispenser equipped with an intelligent tracker. Placed on the dog’s collar, the tracker analyzes data such as physical activity, distance traveled, and calories burned. Based on this information, the dispenser automatically delivers the appropriate amount of food, ensuring a balanced diet for the animal. An aesthetic prototype of the design was also produced.

    Challenge

Data Integration: Designing a system capable of interpreting tracker data and adjusting the food quantity accordingly.

Visual and Functional Design: Developing an attractive design while ensuring optimal functionality.

Ease of Use: Explaining the system’s operation through visual supports such as sketches and a storyboard.

    Solution

Initial Sketching: Creation of a wide range of sketches, from rough drafts to highly detailed versions, in order to explore different approaches.

Aesthetic Prototype: Development of a visual model to represent the final appearance of the dispenser and test its aesthetic appeal.

Explanatory Storyboard: Design of a step-by-step storyboard illustrating how the tracker and dispenser work together, ensuring clear understanding.

    Impact
This innovative automatic dispenser improves dogs’ well-being by automatically adjusting meals to their physical needs. By combining technology and design, the project highlights a modern solution for balanced and personalized nutrition.
