Work history I started as an Illustrator in the 1990s, and have mostly worked as a Storyboard Artist for Advertising Agencies. The rapid turnaround times involved keeps things challenging and suits me well. Software I prefer working in Photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq and have used both Mac and Windows since 2005. I use Pixelmator on the Mac and Procreate on an iPad Pro as well and scan my own artwork and photographic negatives. Training I trained with traditional media. Using colours and pigments in the real world informs the use of colour in my digital work. I continue to draw and paint in my free time. I learned photography on an analogue camera. I understand how aperture, shutter speed and film speed affect the final image. Learning photography has also helped me learn more about image composition.
