About
I am NKUSI, a Rwandan-born artist, music producer, and DJ based in Tiohtiá:ke / Montréal. My style blends hip-hop, electronic, soul, and minimalist vibes to create an introspective and afro-futuristic sound universe. Since 2017, I’ve been active in the music scene with diverse projects ranging from music production and DJ performances to sound creation for films, podcasts, and social initiatives.
Over the years, I have grown my craft as a DJ with residencies at l’Idéal Bar & Contenus and teaching DJ courses since 2023. I’m passionate about collaborating on festivals, social clubs, and multimedia projects, always pushing the boundaries of sound and culture through my work.
