I am Kerry Anne Eakins, a freelance illustrator and relief printer based in the Northwest. I create image-based work using illustration and printmaking to evoke emotion and spark a reaction from the viewer. I explore issues within society such as feminism and mental wellbeing, with a particular love for lino relief printing as a method of image making and for hand-rendered lettering in this medium. I’m curious and willing to take risks, keeping creativity playful and open to new processes. Experimentation is where the fun happens, and I’m always excited by cool ideas, packaging, and how design can change the feel of a product. I love learning new things, and in my downtime I’m a horror film enthusiast who enjoys Formula 1 and talking about horses for hours. My projects include the ‘f**k ur male gaze’ linocuts and related guerrilla campaigns and the ‘Voices’ publication exploring women creators’ experiences.
