I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Composition and Culture at University College Dublin, having recently graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Second Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies. During my time at Trinity, I gained experience in composing and co-directing scores for short films, including If I Was a Pirate (dir. Grace Woulfe) and I Don’t Know (dir. Douglas Morrison). These projects deepened my interest in composing for visual media, an area I plan to further explore in my Masters final project.
Beyond academia, I am the lead singer and primary songwriter for the band SPRITZ, with whom I have been performing original material for the past two years. We have played in some of Ireland’s most renowned venues, including The Grand Social and Whelan’s in Dublin, as well as Róisín Dubh in Galway. In October last year, we recorded our debut single “Anyway”, which was released in February. This gave me hands-on experience in studio production, music distribution, and promotion on platforms such as Spotify.
