Hi, I’m John Abbott Jr.—a independent musician, educator, and producer based in Pennington, New Jersey. Since 2016 I’ve been building John Abbott Music, offering jazz, blues, and pop/rock performances for a variety of occasions, plus guitar and ukulele instruction for students from age 7 to adult. I also provide musician services through Sourland Sounds and Murphy Boy Records, and I actively collaborate on ensembles and original compositions. My work spans performing, composing, and teaching. I’ve co-founded projects like Stolen Moments and JB Abbott Trio, led groups such as The Perfect Alibi Quartet and Johnny Abbott & The Blues Monks, and written music for podcasts, adverts, and commemorative pieces.
