Alperen Börklü is a filmmaker, visual storyteller, and creative director with a background in Industrial Design from Middle East Technical University. Since graduating, he has specialized in 2D and 3D animation, storyboarding, and post-production, working across documentaries, commercials, and personal film projects. His filmography includes The Rise of METU Forrest (2018), Geçiş (2020), Loop (2021), Ankara Ayazı (2021), Far From The Reach (2022), Perception Buried The Truth (2022), and ON (2024), with official selections at international festivals such as Lift-Off Filmmaker Sessions, FESTIVAL ANGAELICA, and Black Cat Award International Film Festival. Blending disciplines from color theory, movement, sociology, psychology, anatomy, and history, Börklü crafts a unique cinematic language rooted in depth and atmosphere.
