This iconic New Orleans brand underwent an important transition when new ownership restored its operations to Orleans Parish after a 12-year hiatus and began the process of modernizing the brand. My team and I handled all of the design needs of the relaunch, including refreshed logos, packaging and branded collateral materials for the legacy Dixie Beer product. We also designed a new brand identity from scratch for the launch of their new craft product, Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager.
Connectd was started out of a desire to give budding, independent creators a platform on which to grow and thrive. They are a mission-driven network committed to amplifying diverse voices and allowing their creators to retain full ownership and creative control over their content.
To support their launch, I created a logo platform designed to accommodate current and future sub-brands as well as provide a memorable icon element to help build brand recognition and communicate the company’s message and mission.
The Pelicans were a basketball team in a football town, struggling to carve out a cultural niche. My team and I developed “Won’t Bow Down” as a brand mantra that reflected defiant strength and grit while tying the Pelicans to a unique facet of New Orleans culture.
I helped to develop this suite of word marks featuring the Won’t Bow Down and WBD brand lines, including optimization for a wide array of production applications in signage, merchandizing, etc.
In mid 2025, Quantum Fiber and Peter Mayer launched “Yay to You,” a series of video love letters celebrating the extraordinary things their users do with their fiber internet.
I served as Design Director in the development of the campaign look and feel in non-video media, and also crafted a set of hand lettered word marks to introduce these characters and to deliver the campaign line, “Yay to You.”
Mignon Faget is a beloved boutique jewelry designer in New Orleans. The brand had rich history and a ton of local cache, but had become dated, and its visual identity was failing to convey the sophistication, craft and quality of their pieces. I led a design team at PeterMayer that relaid the foundations of Mignon Faget’s visual identity with a logo suite and distinctive color palette that would make their brand stand out in a modern context.
When Lumen/CenturyLink launched a new fiber internet product under a separate brand, they needed to instantly differentiate themselves in a competitive and monotonous category. I led the charge to design a visual identity that would stand out from the competition and lend meaning to the Quantum Fiber name.
