I am Angham A. Abdullah, a researcher and translator with a PhD in Contemporary Iraqi Women’s Fiction of War from the University of York. My work spans academic research, translation of Arabic-English texts, and collaboration on refugee-related initiatives in the UK.
Over the years I have conducted oral history interviews with Syrian refugees, translated and edited interviews and literary material, and supported learners as a tutor and pre-sessional instructor. I am passionate about language, storytelling, and making voices from displaced communities heard.
