Led the transition from statically generated web pages to a fully dynamic architecture, initially as the sole developer. Designed and implemented core infrastructure components to support scalable, real-time content delivery. As the scope expanded, became the team’s go-to expert for technical leadership, unit testing, and code quality. The system now comprises multiple C# services built on .NET 8, interfacing with both MS SQL Server and DynamoDB databases. Front-end components are developed using React and Razor. A significant portion of the site’s content is dynamically generated using Handlebars, for which I developed extensive custom functionality to extend its capabilities. The latest project involved using Copilot to provide automatic translation of pages into multiple languages supported by Direct Ferries.
