Refactored core system components responsible for ingesting and processing survey requests to conform to standardized interfaces across the integration stack. Automated client onboarding processes for a number of integrations with CRM systems such as Zendesk and Kustomer, substantially reducing the required lift from the Implementations team by ~90%. Developed and enhanced integration capabilities with CRM partners, enabling new deal flow and supporting new Stella product features.

Lead Software Engineer at Teckst

Brought in as the second in-house employee, then led the re-architecture effort by exposing shared logic for different messaging aggregators (SMS) and CRM model types via common interfaces within the Ruby on Rails monolith, greatly reducing code duplication. While working with Rails, also enhanced the product by connecting with additional CRMs, and developed a workflow system enabling a wider variety of client-config options required by clients.

Developed and managed account and billing logic, integrating external APIs from various service providers. Refactored sales-facing contract pricing screen into a set of common components, reducing that portion of the internal code surface by ¾. Developed customer and internal facing views in the web portal using Stimulus and Turbo that is used by co-developed backend code managing cybersecurity agents on customer’s host machines. Design system updates to modernize frontend styling with a transition from Bootstrap and jQuery to Tailwind, Stimulus, and Turbo.
