I am a musician who is passionate about live music and the events industry. I love working within events teams to deliver the highest standard end product possible. I am currently in a leading role as a Senior Venue Assistant at Cambridge Corn Exchange, and I am ready to step up into a dynamic, fast-paced management role at the biggest and busiest venue in the area. I am familiar with staff from all departments in the Corn Exchange office and routinely liaise with tech, programming, Box Office and Finance, as well as external promoters to ensure that the planning and delivery of each event runs smoothly. Volunteering with my local Sea Scout Group has shaped my leadership and teamwork. Since age six I have enjoyed scouting and now channel that energy into giving back by helping other children have a similar experience. Through scouting I have gained experience in paddle sports (kayaking, canoeing, Stand Up Paddleboarding and bell boating) and, in June 2024, passed my assessment to instruct up to 10 children canoeing independently with British Canoeing. I have helped organise camps, including running a water-themed camp in September 2021 at age 16, planned activities with risk assessments and dietary considerations, and supported fellow Scouts with autism, dyslexia and wheelchair users.
