I’m Linh Tran, a Master of IT student at Monash who designs and builds interactive, human centered products. I care about work that helps people learn, feel prepared, or get things done calmly and clearly. Recently I created a 3D healthcare communication simulator where students practice real conversations with virtual patients in a safe hospital setting. I taught myself Unity quickly during the project, and we tested with students and educators who saw strong potential for class use. I also created Healing Country, a responsive web app that supports Indigenous health information and community events. I led a 48 hour sprint that won first prize for an elderly friendly app: designed for non tech users, welcoming, and aimed at keeping minds active and people connected. I move comfortably between research, design, and front end build, and I work well with diverse teams. Customer service roles taught me to explain complex ideas in plain language. Having lived in Vietnam, the U.S., Singapore, and Australia, and speaking English, Vietnamese, Mandarin, and Cantonese, I collaborate easily across cultures. I learn fast and I’m looking for chances to contribute to meaningful projects; especially where clear design can improve everyday life. If my work is relevant, I’d love to share a short demo or talk briefly.
