I’m Christel Smith, originally from South Africa, and I’ve devoted my life to acting and dance. While studying theater at Tshwane University in Pretoria, I earned the title of Most Promising Acting Student and was crowned Miss South Africa Technikon. I joined the lead cast of EGOLI as Tarien for five years, a run that helped me become a household name. After relocating to Los Angeles, I guest-starred on RAKE and appeared in guest roles on MARTIAL LAW, THE AGENCY, SEVEN DAYS, STRONG MEDICINE, PACIFIC BLUE, and CSI: Cyber, among others. I led in the short film BERSERKER, hosted Top Billing for 20 episodes, and starred in the 2005 theater production African Gothic.
