Vern 'Coot' Bird

Hi there! I’m Vern ‘Coot’ Bird, a Canadian actor based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My credits span film, television, theatre, and commercials, with appearances in SkyMed, Independence, The Witch of Niverville, and various stage productions. I love bringing characters to life on screen, on stage, and through voice work, and I’m always excited to collaborate on new projects.

Off set, I enjoy sharing knowledge through presentations and public speaking, and I’m known for a friendly, collaborative approach. I’m continually refining my craft with ongoing training in acting on camera, voice-over technique, and mime, and I’m eager to take on fresh challenges across the film and TV landscape.
