About
Hello, I’m Mehdi Belhassen, a Cannes-based violinist, composer and performer. My work blends North African Gnawa rhythms, Oriental melodies and contemporary improvisation to create vibrant, expressive soundscapes.
I’ve studied at the Université Paris VIII (Master in Ethnomusicology) and trained at the Centre des musiques Didier Lockwood and the American School of Modern Music. I compose for media, perform in ensembles, and teach violin in Paris, bringing a collaborative and friendly spirit to every project.
