Hi, I’m Jack Arute III, born in New Britain, Connecticut, and I’ve spent a lifetime in motorsports broadcasting and communications. I studied at The Canterbury School and the University of Vermont, cut my teeth at Stafford Motor Speedway, and later took on roles as Executive Producer and Co-Host of NASCAR’s Motor Racing Network. I also led public relations at Charlotte Motor Speedway and headed NASCAR marketing and PR for Junior Johnson & Associates, before starting a marketing firm focused on NASCAR sponsorships. In 1984 I joined ABC Sports as an announcer, covering NASCAR, IndyCar, F1, Olympic sports, NFL and college football for more than 35 years and earning three Emmy Awards. Up to the time of my passing, I continued to present NASCAR and IndyCar coverage on SiriusXM Radio, sharing the excitement I’ve carried since day one.
