I'm a British traditional wildlife watercolorist living in Lisbon, Portugal. I have sold over 150 watercolor paintings worldwide. I grew up sketching nature in Birmingham and have spent years working with domestic and exotic animals and wildlife. I sold my first painting in 2012 while living in Germany and at that time co-ran a craft club and designed eco-friendly jewelry that was sold at Etsy shops, at music festivals, and in fair-trade cafes. I believe creativity and awe of nature are essential to wellbeing, and I strive to keep my work close to the subject with highly detailed realism on a white or simple background to avoid distractions. I have built a following on Instagram since 2018 and have collaborated with animal sanctuaries on fundraising jewelry lines; my art has also reached biologists in the fields of herpetology and entomology through commissions and educational pieces.
