I was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 1962 and began my career in film and television, working as an assistant director and TV producer across Kanal A and freelance projects. I later transitioned into frontline social work, leading projects for homeless drug users and advocating for harm-reduction policies, while building a network across NGOs in Slovenia and Europe.
Today I continue to balance media production with social projects, including documentary work in Ukraine and work with asylum seekers in Ljubljana. I’m active in ENCOD, EHRA, EuroNPUD and Kooperativa ROG, and I aim to promote humane, evidence-based approaches beyond prohibition.
