I’m a UT Austin student nearing graduation, pursuing a dual degree: Bachelor of Science in Honors Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors, with a 4.0 GPA. I fuse scientific research with art and design, building scientific illustrations, children’s books, and open-access tools that help people see and understand the natural world. I also run Jing Books, intern with NOAA, mentor peers, and develop creative outreach projects to raise awareness about marine ecosystems and plastic pollution.
Beyond the studio, I design educational visuals, table at library events, and collaborate with researchers to communicate complex ideas clearly. My work spans lab experiments, field surveys, and hands-on fabrication of accessible micro-precision devices, always with a friendly, curious approach to learning and sharing knowledge.
